This week I read a respiratory prayer. The breath of life comes to us from the four winds. God so loved the world that he blew breath into all beings to give us breath so that we might be living creatures. Now that is the light on the world I love. Blessings at this sacred time of year. Breath is a priceless gift from someone who has asthma. Amen.

Thank you and Merry Christmas.

My Sunday morning began with your words .. As I reflected and read your words and insights and perspective of viewing your life from the village of Saratoga ,

Your home town ; I though how fortunate I was to have met you on the crossroads of our life intersecting in the wild of the North country and among the landscape of St. Lawrence , you were filled with light and wonder and beauty all from with in and that was apparent to all around you and as I reflect on the words

“ And their was light in the darkness “ you

Have always been the light and your light and insights have become more luminous over the decades And more your gracious light has invited others to the kindness and awesomeness that the world reveals through the grace of God . Over the passage of time your vigor for life has brought out a version of you enlightened by love and life and enriched with the success and falling down and in rising up and learning from faltering we become who we are . It is a magical and a marvelous feeling to have known a friend for 40 years and I thank you and love you for this gift . I am proud of you and the boldness and boundless love that defines you and that have given to your children and most of all for the way you love the world and care for those who need a bridge to the light out of the darkness .

To many more years of friendship . Much love

Jeffrey

Amazing insight, as usual, but the light imagery resonated with me! If each of us would just share our light the world would be incandescent! Thank you for the glow from Vermont.
