Dear Reader, My dive into self study came to a lovely apex this past week when my sister arrived from Alaska and we had the chance to talk about our experience being raised by our parents and growing up where we did. It was kind of like looking in a mirror and it was really satisfying and comforting to talk with her about our childhood and how it has played out in our adult lives.
So Much Evidence
Apropos of your question about throwing rocks,
does Frost give an answer in Mending Wall?
"I see him there
Bringing a stone grasped firmly by the top
In each hand, like an old-stone savage armed.
He moves in darkness as it seems to me,
Not of woods only and the shade of trees."
May you always be enveloped in the expressions of love and joy
Happy time with your sister.
